About Mark Edwards

Long before technology became central to every business, I was writing software and building applications in the 1980s because I wanted to understand how things worked—and how they could work better.

Over time, the larger challenge became helping organizations use technology to achieve their business objectives. That path led from software development into enterprise architecture, technology leadership, executive strategy, mergers and acquisitions, cybersecurity, and executive advisory work.

For more than twenty-five years, I have led technology organizations through growth, transformation, and change. My experience spans enterprise applications, infrastructure, support, cybersecurity, data and analytics, digital transformation, acquisition integration, enterprise scalability, and innovation.

Today my work includes aligning technology investments with business strategy, strengthening security, modernizing operations, building data and analytics capability, and establishing practical AI governance and adoption strategies.

I founded RedBird Technology Advisors to provide experienced executive leadership grounded in integrity, service, careful judgment, and disciplined execution.
